Toxicology

Growing environmental pressure from a wide range of social, industrial and political activities make toxicology relevant and in demand. A career in toxicology may find you exploring cancer biomedicine, environmental pollution, or detection technology for  chemical weapons.  You'll learn about toxicant action at the level of molecules and cells - all the way up to whole ecosystems. Want to make a difference in a complex world? Check out our Toxicology major.

Penn State Ag Sciences's Toxicology major is one of only a handful of toxicology majors in the United States. We have strong supporting resources too like:

  • world renowned faculty
  • state of the art courses
  • diverse opportunities for hands-on research experience
  • full-time advisors committed to your success
